{"id":345,"date":"2025-11-11T10:00:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T10:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/patternsinthebible.com\/?p=345"},"modified":"2025-11-12T02:10:29","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T02:10:29","slug":"ephesians-2-1-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patternsinthebible.com\/?p=345","title":{"rendered":"Ephesians 2: 1-10"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once <mark style=\"background-color:#ffcfd2\" class=\"has-inline-color\">walked<\/mark>, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left:2em\">following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at <mark style=\"background-color:#cfbaf0\" class=\"has-inline-color\">work<\/mark> in the sons of disobedience\u2014 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left:4em\">3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, <mark style=\"background-color:#90dbf4\" class=\"has-inline-color\">carrying out<\/mark> the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left:6em\">4 But God, being <mark style=\"background-color:#b9fbc0\" class=\"has-inline-color\">rich<\/mark> in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left:8em\">5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us <mark style=\"background-color:#ffe599\" class=\"has-inline-color\">alive<\/mark> together with Christ\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left:10em\">by grace you have been <mark style=\"background-color:#ffe599\" class=\"has-inline-color\">saved<\/mark>\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left:8em\">6 and <mark style=\"background-color:#ffe599\" class=\"has-inline-color\">raised<\/mark> us up with him and <mark style=\"background-color:#ffe599\" class=\"has-inline-color\">seated<\/mark> us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left:6em\">7 so that in the coming ages He might show the immeasurable <mark style=\"background-color:#b9fbc0\" class=\"has-inline-color\">riches<\/mark> of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-left:4em\">8 For by grace you have been saved through faith.
